Founder & Creative Director, After 9 Studios
Jennifer Rodriguez is a storyteller, creator, and community advocate who believes deeply in the healing power of art. As the founder of After 9 Studios, she has dedicated her life to building spaces where creativity becomes a lifeline — for individuals, families, and communities navigating difficult times.
Her journey is rooted in empathy, resilience, and lived experience. She combines her passion for the arts with a mission to elevate voices, empower transformation, and create opportunities for those who deserve to be seen and heard.
Jennifer leads After 9 Studios with the belief that art saves lives, and that every story — including the painful ones — has the power to spark connection, healing, and hope.
Co-Founder & Director of Operations
Patricio Carvajal brings both experience and heart to After 9 Studios. Before moving to Canada, he served as a hospital administrator in Ecuador, where he developed a deep understanding of organizational leadership, finance, and the importance of compassionate systems.
At After 9 Studios, Patricio oversees the business, operations, and financial direction of the organization. His ability to combine structure with empathy ensures that every project is built on a strong foundation — one that can grow, sustain impact, and reach the people who need it most.
Patricio has transformed his own life through resilience and dedication, and he is a firm believer that people can change when they have the right support, dignity, and opportunity. His lived experience and commitment to helping others rise make him an essential part of The After 9 mission.
