After 9 Studios' first photographer

II am a black queer artist born and raised in Toronto. As a self taught photographer I have never been confined to the rules. It has allowed me to express myself fully in my art.

My relationship to memories,colours and visuals are very complex. I have lucid dreams, a photographic memory and synesthesia. I try my best to translate the tastes, sounds, and textures that I feel into my work.

The results are these dream-like worlds where colour rules and the image feels alive. The opposite is true for my black and white work where stillness and silence are found.
